Rated 91 Points
The 2023 Maranges La Fussières 1er Cru Blanc comes from 1.5 hectares of vines on shallow soils. It has quite a complex bouquet with linden, orange pith and light waxy aromas that discretely unfold in the glass. The palate is saline and fresh on the entry, well balanced with fine depth, though it perhaps does not quite muster the requisite mineralité on the finish (at the moment). Maybe afford this two or three years in bottle. Drinking Window 2025-2035.
