A benchmark Brunello from the dark cherry, vanilla, hazelnut, orange peel and sage on the nose to the cherries and strawberries made lively with citrus and flinty earth on the palate, before an indulgent salted hazelnut finish. Tannins persuade rather than insist. Rigorously itself and marvelously convivial.

Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is deep ruby red in color. Complex and fresh, with inviting fruit aromas balanced by oak-imparted spices. Well-structured and full-bodied, with fine tannins that promise great aging capacity. The finish is long and impressive.
